Role Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager - Logistics (Secondary) to oversee and optimize secondary logistics operations across the assigned zones. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing distribution networks, driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring cost-effective logistics solutions while maintaining service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills to navigate the complexities of a large-scale FMCG logistics network. The candidate should have extensive experience in supply chain operations and the ability to enhance distribution strategies through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•  Manage Pan-India Secondary Distribution operations, including CFA locations and depots, with a team of regional logistics resources.
•  Develop and implement systems and processes for seamless secondary distribution in coordination with sales and customer service teams.
•  Provide critical analysis and data-driven insights to support long-term infrastructure planning and management decision-making.
•  Ensure the implementation and compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all logistics touchpoints.
•  Optimize Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies to improve cost efficiency and enhance service levels.
•  Monitor and analyze warehouse operations, ensuring optimal space utilization, inventory control, and stock audits.
•  Drive cost-reduction initiatives such as warehouse consolidation, direct dispatch models, and efficiency improvement projects.
•  Ensure commercial compliance, including GST, FSSAI, and other statutory regulations.
•  Conduct demand forecasting and long-term planning using predictive analytics to optimize supply chain decisions.
•  Lead negotiations with transporters and CFA partners to optimize freight and storage costs.
•  Regularly track and report logistics KPIs, ensuring continuous process improvements and efficiency gains.

•  Strong communication & negotiation skills with an analytical and strategic mindset.
•  Proven experience in leading large-scale logistics networks and optimizing secondary distribution.
•  Ability to analyze market trends and operational data to drive strategic decisions.
•  Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel, and BI tools for logistics and supply chain management.
•  Strong leadership and team management skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
•  Open to travel and adept at managing multiple stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience

 Education: Graduation (PG Qualification in Supply Chain / Operations preferred)
 Experience: 12-15 years in logistics, supply chain operations, and distribution management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
 Current Position: Candidate should currently be in a Senior Manager / Regional Manager role in Logistics or Supply Chain.
 Industry Preference: FMCG / Beverages with large-scale distribution networks.
